One seriously thick, soft, and durable yak wool hat. Yak is one of my favorite fibers to work with. It's incredibly warm, naturally soft, and has a durability that makes it particularly well suited for something you're going to wear every day.
This style hat averages around 110g of fiber, which is a lot. Yak wool has a wonderful density and substantial feel to it, without being overly bulky. You'll understand what I mean when you get your hands on it.
I've always hated buying a nice wool hat only to have it stretch out and lose its shape after a few months. This is my response to that. Something built to last, not just look good for the first few wears.
Built for a normal-ish head size. If you know you have a big or small dome, let me know and I can make one to size for an extra $50. These are meant to fit around a 22.5" head.
Expect the hats to be slightly tight for the first couple of wears but to break in a bit with use. The ribbing will relax just enough to conform to your head without getting sloppy. Let me know if you want to combine shipping and I can reduce the price by $45.
