Followed the instructions for pre washing; wow the yarn is even more gorgeous. Saturated color, plumped up just a little after washing, no splitting and great to work with. Feels soft next to my skin.

Thank you, I agree with the socks, they are awesome! They always stay on my feet in the winter. We're about to do another production batch this year and will hopefully add some extra designs and maybe fiber options.
I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading some comments, but the undyed cashmere I received is gorgeous!! It was soft before a soak and wash, and is even softer after. I look forward to knitting with it!

This yarn is amazing. I saw the note that said that the spinning oils might still be in the yarn and I would need to wash it to see the benefits of the yarn. Oh my goodness! This yarn is so soft and luscious after washing! I would love to use it again and again!

I haven't started my project yet. I really wanted to see the color, feel the yarns and smell the wools. It was so fun coiling it up into its woolen cake.

Even before washing the spinning oil off the yarn, the camel felt soft against my neck. At the same time, it was not a whimper softness. Its hefty and texture promises sturdiness. The color is lovely. This purchase is an investment in resurrecting my childhood memory of a beloved camel coat I wore out. I will begin a sweater once hibernation season arrives...November in Maine USA. SO, SO GRATEFUL for the efforts of everyone to support this group of Mongolians!

The natural brown has a slightly heathered look - it is absolutely gorgeous! The yarn feels very soft in the skein even before washing out the spinning oils, and it has a soft sheepy smell that I just love. Did I say that the color is AMAZING?!?

These are the softest wool socks I've ever had. I bought a pair several years ago. They're still going strong. This year I bought a pair for myself and everyone in my family.

This is a roughly textured yarn, not at all like cashmere. I will use it for something, but I’m overall very disappointed in my purchase.
Sorry to hear you're not happy with it! I wonder if it's possible the cobalt sheep wool got sent out instead, but that's not a 'rough' yarn either. Either way, I sent you an email so we can get it worked out.
Just got done knitting a hoodie and it's just so so soft and warm! The knitting process was a dream, too. Totally love this yarn. Making a cardigan for my mom next in a different color.

I made a lovely hat with this yarn. The color is beautiful and bright - it makes me smile! This yarn is also so incredibly soft. I was quite surprised to see someone say it wasn't in their review, and I wonder if they did not wash the yarn first to remove the spinning oils. I cannot stress enough how important that step is. It is so soft and squishy once it's properly washed. I wish I could have gotten my hands on some of the smaller weight yarns in this color to make some sweaters for my daughter and me.

The color is really nice, and the yarn is nice and soft. Purple is my mother's favorite color so I plan to make something for her with this. Make sure to follow the wash instructions for removing the spinning oils to bring out the softness of this gorgeous yarn!

The color is so lovely in person. I have not worked with this yet, but I have worked with the Bulky Cashmere that was incredibly soft after following the washing instructions to remove the spinning oils. Since this is a DK weight yarn, it will be less firm due to less bulk and will likely be even softer once washed.
Yes the DK is a great middle ground. The washing is like magic when it fuzzes up a bit, I hope you find the right project for it!
These socks are so incredibly soft and warm. I also love how my feet do not overheat in these socks and thus don't get sweaty. I will definitely be buying more for the family and also plan to get some as stocking stuffers when Christmas rolls around.

Natural color 100% cashmere yarn — beautiful soft gray color! Nice even twist, not too tight and not loose — just right. Buy some, you’ll be very happy too!

This yarn is fabulous for stranded colorwork! It's soft, it's fluffy, the color is saturated and beautiful. The stitches fill in nicely and no strands show through. I'm making a tubular cowl, so will effectively have 4 layers of fiber, and it's going to be warm and wonderful!
(the other two colors are Deep Harbor Blue and Gold, also on baby camel)
